Vilnius, Lithuania – Halide Energy is proud to announce that it has been named a winner of the Pitch Battle at Startup Fair 2026. Competing at one of the Baltic’s leading startup events with over 2,000 attendees, Halide Energy was recognised alongside 3P-DEFENCE and UVIRESO by a panel of industry experts and investors.

CEO Paul Wong presented Halide Energy’s vision for solving grid-scale energy flexibility and storage, showcasing how our proprietary Copper Flow Battery (CFB) technology directly addresses the limitations of existing lithium-ion and vanadium systems. The judges recognised the strength of our value proposition, specifically noting our engineering philosophy, highly available supply chain, exceptional unit economics, and simplicity of manufacture and integration.

Winning this competition is a key milestone and powerful validation of our commercial strategy and technical execution as we prepare to deploy our first pilots in early 2027 and subsequent commercial projects.

The company is currently raising the final allocations of its equity round, backed by lead institutional investors including BSV Ventures, LAB7 and other European deeptech funds.
